The security and protection of your privacy is very important to us and, thus, we follow responsible and lawful maintenance and processing procedures of your personal data.

This privacy policy forms a whole set, including the terms and conditions of use, the performance of transactions at www.diver.com.gr, and the acceptance of the use of cookies. So before navigating through the e-shop or performing any transactions please make sure that you agree with all of the above.

TRANSACTIONS

In order perform a transaction or make an order through Diver’s e-shop, you will be asked to disclose some personal details. You will be asked to provide your full name, the address for the delivery of the products, your telephone number and your e-mail address.

The company shall keep and process the aforementioned data in order to complete the customer's order and shall in no way disclose, publish or sell this data to any third parties, except in case a legal procedure regarding the withdrawal of confidentiality is initiated (L. 2225/1994).

The disclosure of your bank account number may be part of the completion of your order in case of a refund (in the event of withdrawal) from the company to you.

The courier company responsible for delivering the products and collecting payment on delivery may use some of your details, as part of the completion of your order.

CREDIT CARD

In case of payment with credit card, you will be automatically transferred to the secure payment environment of ALPHA BANK. Therefore, we do not store any information related to your credit card details.

MEMBERSHIP

Each visitor to the e-shop www.diver.com.gr can create a personal user account to facilitate the transaction process (order history, payments, etc.). In this case, users voluntarily submit their personal details, and through an encrypted code they may edit them or delete their account.

NEWSLETTER SUBSCRIPTION

You may subscribe to receive newsletters by entering your preferred e-mail address. This way you consent to receiving information and commercial material (news, offers, gift vouchers, etc.).

If you no longer wish to receive these e-mails, you are entitled to unsubscribe from this service or we may do it for you, as soon as you send us a relevant request at info@diver.com.gr.

By using cookies, Diver records information, such as message opening rates, website traffic, and pages used on our website.

We use MAILCHIMP, a leading email marketing service, to create and send our Newsletters. MAILCHIMP is fully compliant with the European Law for Personal Data Protection (GDPR), is certified by the competent European authorities and undergoes regular audits annually.

PURPOSE OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING

As already mentioned above, the purpose of collecting personal data and other information via Diver is to facilitate user transactions, contact users, complete their orders and continuously provide improved services.

Your data shall be also processed for promotional and commercial purposes. This way, Diver ensures a personalized shopping experience and at the same time complies with all security regulations.

DATA RECIPIENTS AND PROCESSORS

Your data is stored in servers of a partner company, complying with all storage and security protocols.

Selling any information about our clients and their personal data for commercial purposes to third parties is expressly forbidden.

The information and data you provide us with is only accessed by our company and partners, who are obliged to operate within the limits of their respective competences.

Public sector bodies shall receive your personal data in order to be able to meet legal obligations in case a legal procedure is initiated.

In case diver.com.gr undergoes some form of business change, such as a change of name or a statute, the new business scheme under the brand name Diver shall continue to use the data provided by its users-customers.

By performing transactions through Diver’s e-shop, by using our website services, and by disclosing your personal data as a result of your individual choice, as referred to herein, you expressly give your consent for the collection and use of your personal data.

When you sign up for a specific newsletter, we (diver.com.gr) add your email address to a corresponding mailing list. While it is there, we know that we can contact you by email regarding that topic.

You can always have your email address removed from our mailing lists. There are multiple ways to do it:

  • Once your account is registered, just sign in and unsubscribe from newsletters in profile settings.
  • Use the “Unsubscribe” link in our newsletters that you receive.
  • Send an email to info@diver.com.gr.

We may use a third-party email service (MailChimp and/or Mad Mimi) to send newsletters. Some members of our staff can view mailing lists with email addresses. That way they’ll be able to remove your email address from the mailing list, should you request us to do so.

If you believe that your personal data has been misused, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We’re obliged by EU General Data Protection Regulation to let you know about this right; we don’t actually intend to misuse your data.
